What You Will Be Doing
Job Summary: The Senior Controls Engineer will determine operational feasibility by analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. This individual will document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas. Develop electrical controls by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying electrical controls concepts.
Implement electrical controls design by providing installation, start-up, and technical support. Develop PLC and HMI software as per the requirements of the customer. Participate in regular design reviews on control system status and issues.
What You Need for this Position
More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:
- BSEE
- BSCE
- SCADA
- Rockwell (CLx)
- Siemens (S7) PLC
- Hardware design such as panel layout or industrial
- Solid PC skills with MS Word and MS Excel
- English as well as the Arabic language
- HMI
- PLC
- Travel 15-30% of the time from Plymouth and the UAE
Bonus -
