The Role

Job Summary

The Senior Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for the communication and implementation of the trade marketing plan and regional marketing plan. The Senior Trade Marketing Executive will be working with the regional cross-functional team to meet business objectives by developing the adapted marketing tools to implement the brand marketing strategy by market/retailer, working closely with the merchandising and communication, commercial and creative teams.

Main Responsibilities

Trade Marketing

» Plan, develop and implement trade marketing activation at regional and local level to achieve the designated regional marketing plan

» Communicate annual trade marketing plan to all relevant departments and countries

» Work closely with the Brand Managers on the plan‘s implementation, schedule and activities across each country

» Co-ordinate with Regional Marketing Manager and Commercial Managers on all aspects of planning, budgeting and implementation of promotion events

» Follow up on production, deliveries and implementation of all Point of Sales Materials and sampling tools

» Involve in the local animation, product launch, podiums, counter activity and event

Regional Marketing Plan

» Support the preparation of the presentations of the regional marketing plan to the retailer strategic meeting (including new launches and its marketing tools and events calendar)

» Plan and implement regional launch of newness to achieve on-time counter launch designated through regional marketing calendar

» Monitor competitor launches and marketing activities to better align marketing campaigns

» Collaborate with creative department to develop the communication tools


POSM development

» Adapt international collaterals proposal to regional requirements (local pertinence, Arabic translation)

» Ensure development and production of printed materials (developments of leaflet, catalogues, cards, printed tools working closely with the creative and communication teams)

» Ensure development of regional Gifts and offers in accordance to global brand strategy and initial budget

» In charge of visuals, PLVs and tools for new launches


Launch Performance Analysis

» Develop marketing KPIS to measure new launches performance

» Issue a post-launch report to analyze positive & negative points, achievements including feedback of BM

» Analyze variations between forecasted sales projections and actual sales

» Coordinate ad-hoc sales reports, competitions analysis and reports

» Recommend post-launch action plans to Commercial Managers (re-order, specific incentive, specific re-promotion…)


New Launch Forecast

» Coordinate regional forecast process for newness

» Adapt newness forecast presentation to the needs of local markets

» Consolidate regional forecast


Ideal Profile


Education University Degree preferably in Business Administration or Marketing

Previous Experience Min 5 years in a similar role


Linguistic Skills:


English - Excellent

Arabic - Good

French - Preferable
